DIY Bridal Lingerie

I am so excited to share this post with everyone! It’s my twist on bridal lingerie- romantic, slightly vintage with a hint of sexy that screams HandmadeBySaraKim. This post is sponsored by HerRoom.com and we decided to do a DIY post on a bridal lingerie that we can pair with super cute intimates from HerRoom. It was definitely not as easy as I thought, but it was very fun, cheap and pretty!

Materials include: 1.5 yard of ivory chiffon, .5 yard of nude/blush pleated organza, thin satin ribbon for straps, scissors, needle and thread, and a sewing machine.

I sewed the skirt and the top part separately and attached it with an elastic for the waist. Then I hand sewed the ruffles and attached it to the neckline of the dress. Lastly, attach the ribbon for the straps. Definitely requires a lot of sewing~

To top it off, I used the pleated fabric to make a bow and attach to the middle.

Now you can pair it with intimates from HerRoom. There were lots of favorite bridal sets, but I really liked the Carnival Plunge Lace Longline Bra and their Ruffle Lace Boyshort Panties.

My first attempt on making bridal lingerie and I’m definitely considering to design lingerie for HandmadeBySaraKim. What do you think?
