Giving birth- most moms will tell you giving birth is the easy part and as much as you tell that to someone who is pregnant with their first, they won’t believe you! And boy, they were right. Postpartum was rough for me after an unplanned c section so I had no idea what recovery would look like and it was my first time ever in the OR.

My husband and I just celebrated our 6 year anniversary! We got married January 19, 2013 and although we are not the perfect couple, we continue to say yes to our marriage. We met in college while there was no Instagram and AIM still existed along with killing time on Yahoo Games.

It has been a while since I have updated this blog and I am hoping I could have more time to share some tips and tricks here more often! Here is my first video tutorial up on my YouTube Channel. I'm currently a paper succulent hoarder! I look for a bunch of pots, planters, and vases via thrifting or target and I just went for it while I'm on my official maternity leave. I did a few trial and error paper succulents like my paper string of pearls and paper zebra cactus.

I'm currently at 38 weeks, so close! It's kind of perfect timing for Mother's Day to join all the mamas out there. I'm feeling all sorts of emotions from being excited to anxious, scared to smiling, and of course just nervous about the whole day when it all comes.

We got invited to host our paper flower workshop in LA. We had so many amazing students who would drive far distances to attend our workshops mostly in Orange County and so for our LA folks, we went to West Elm LA this past weekend.
