Thousands of Petals

Throwback to a couple months ago when we hand cut and shaped every petal, flowers, and leaves for a Mother’s Day project for a retailer. It was an amazing experience but going to be honest, super stressful. I had a pretty strict schedule on how many I would need to make a day and had a team of 7 amazing woman who helped and assisted in putting things together. When we look at this photo, I don’t remember much of the work behind the scenes but there was a lot clearly. It was also the first time I was really managing a team and I also realized being a boss is a whole new world and something I have to learn. I think I could make thousands of flowers all the time but to manage a team is scarier. I wanted to make sure they were all happy but also efficient and I don’t know how to tell people what to do in a nice but strict way. What does that all mean?

I’m still figuring it out but for now, here is our teamwork. So many hands, so much love.
